As 2012 leaves us and we welcome 2013, there are those that will stick to their resolutions and some that won't.
For myself every year I make a resolution.  They are silly but it is our tradition in my family.  Our resolutions range from no caffeine to not eating a whole bag of M&M's in one sitting. Yes the whole bag of M&M's belongs to me :)

However, no matter the resolution, path or dream.  Believe in yourself and take it one day at a time.
For myself I am glad for the end of 2012 as it brought me a dream.  I wrote and published my first book.  I look forward to 2013 because it is my hope that I will finish 2013 out with 3 more books published

I can't wait to see what comes, bring on 2013

End of the Year

As the end of the year closes upon us I can't help but recall all that has taken place this year.  There are have been ups and downs.
Papers scattered across my desk with food and play dough in several places. My hair felt like I would pull so much that it would soon fall out.  However, through it all I have to say that I am proud of all that I accomplished.

I wrote 2 books!!!!!

The 1 is a full length novel call Oracle's End that is still in edits  and the 2 called Bounty for Hunter that is a short spicy novella that takes you on an adventure and keeps you guess what is going to happen next. This book is currently out on the market.

To many might think those numbers are a lot and some will think that is too little Yet for myself I am happy with those numbers. I did all this while taking care of my 2 and 4 year old.  I say this not to brag I say this because it is something that mean something to me.

I want that to be a boost to others that feel maybe they just can't do it, or feel there is no time.

There is always time, it is a matter of making time, looking at what is before you and finding the time slots that work for you.  15 mins here and 15 mins there will make all the difference in the world.  Trust me I know.

So as the year ends look forward to 2013, look forward to the possibilities that you can achieve.
I know that I will.  I have to finish the Bounty for Hire series and I hope to get the last 3 books published all in 2013, and I want to get Oracle's End published.  It's a lot and it will be a challenge but I welcome it with open arms,

Bounty for Hunter by AJ Wiliams

by VINNY O'HARE on DECEMBER 16, 2012
AJWiliamsBountyForHunterAMAZON
About The Book:
Keylee isn’t your typical bounty hunter. She’s young, petite, and has a Doberman pinscher as her personal bodyguard. Just as Keylee returns to town from a month long assignment, she’s asked to protect a man named Hunter, who has jumped bond and is on the run from other bounty hunters and the police. The mere fact that she knows who Hunter is and why the police are after him, places her life at risk. Now, Keylee has a limited time to save Hunter and herself.
Author Bio:
AJ Wiliams lives in Missouri with her husband and two children, and their faithful dog. She grew up in Arizona and at the age of eight, her mother brought her to Missouri to be close to family. As an only child, AJ had to learn how to entertain herself. Writing was an escape from an isolated life she led as the only child to her parents. Living in a small town also proved to create lots of stories. Like most small towns, everyone knew everyone.
As she grew older, her grandparents played a large role in her writing life. By the age of thirteen, she had written several poems about her family and about growing up. Reading and music also became an outlet for her.
AJ loves listening to everything from the classics of Mozart to System of a Down to even Indie music such as Lana Del Rey and Florence and the Machine. That love of music has continued on, influencing her and the stories she likes to write.

Bounty for Hunter 1 week till release

Keylee isn’t your typical bounty hunter. She’s young, petite, and has a Doberman pincher as her personal bodyguard.

    Writing

There were so many times in my growing up that I was told that my writing was good, with those few that gave praise there was more behind them that said 'oh you write, you are to young to understand'
I might have been young and well I am probably still young to understand some things, but that is not the point.

In writing we are allowed to escape into the unknown.  It is the same for reading.  Takes us places we didn't think existed or people we never would have associated with.

Books and writing allows us to explore our fantasies without the harsh criticism that comes from others knowing our dirty little secrets.

When I finally found a story that I could not escape I sat down and wrote all the while taking care of my two kids.  It can be done.

The first book I wrote is not yet published and is being edited, but that is a longer story and one I really can't wait to share.

This book Bounty for Hunter is my second book, first to be published and first in a novella series.
Bounty for Hunter comes out just before Christmas.  I can't wait for you all to take the exciting journey with Keylee, Hunter, Alek, Tess, Jefferson, and Thomas.

These characters are relatable.  You can see something in all of them that you would find in everyday people.

    Keep your eyes peeled

    Jumping Thursday

I have to say that today does equal the title of jumping Thursday.  Today I finished round two of edits with my editor. Took my kids to a play date, made homemade meatloaf for dinner, and got my kids rooms both cleaned for vacuuming day tomorrow.  It is amazing what you can get done when you are up at 6:30 in the morning.

Now do I wish I could always get that much done in one day sure, does that mean it happens.  N-O-P-E.
As I accomplished all that Thomas's Book.  Thomas's Bounty, got zero attention, laundry was ignored just as much as everything else was.  However, there is a bright side. Yes a bright side.  There is tomorrow and tonight what I don't finish.

So back to Jumping Thursday from my little rant  LOL

Enjoy the motivation as tomorrow is Friday.  ONE more day people and the weekend will be upon us.

Don't forget that Bounty for Hunter will be available  right before Christmas

    Bounty for Hire

Before I started this novella series I sorted through pictures of those that I thought looked similar to what I had in my head for my characters.  How could I not.  I wanted these characters to be real.  Besides pictures always offer added bonuses when you need some motivation to write more.

For Book 1 Bounty for Hunter.... It features Keylee.  This was my inspiration for her.

In Book 2 of the series we meet Thomas.  Keylee's adopted brother.

As I finish his story and move onto Jefferson and Alek's I will post more pictures of them as well as their significant others..

I hope you enjoy as much as I  do

    Brace Yourself Sunday

It is the dreaded Sunday... A day when there is football or some other sport to be looked forward to.  It is a day for families to attend church or just to be together.  A day for shopping at the last minute for all those items forgotten earlier in the week.  Or like some it is a day to brace yourself for the work week that lies ahead.  MONDAY.. (dum dum dum)

For myself Sunday is all the above and so much more.  Footbal as it is the current sports seasons is blaring through my house.  My kids and husband are running through the house screaming at scores completed, bad calls, fights between the siblings and me just needing a moment of silence.  Sunday is laundry day.    Yes a day of REST is my day to get laundry done.  :)

So as some brace yourself the week ahead, I look forward to it, all because of this day.  Backwards I know but I am a half full type of girl

So Sundays in my house is about never giving up.  Though I spend Sundays with the history channel, football and a screaming family.  I take away the fun times we have.  I use those times to inspire me to keep up with my dream.

So to everyone else.  Don't give up.  Brace yourself today for what is and what will be and look past it.  See the potential that your day or week can bring to you.  You never know what lies ahead until you try.

    Book Cover

Are there words that describe how excited I am about my book cover?  Yeah I don't think there are.
This book, this first book has been a dream for so long.

It just goes to show you that dreams can come true.  It is all about hard work and effort.
I won't allow myself to think negative but the fact that I am out there, putting out the book there.  Well that is just one hurdle over and several to pass.

Being a track runner when I was school.  I know the value of patience and practise.

I will succeed.  Is my motto

Here is the beautiful cover Bounty for Hunter the first book in the Series
